Right before the Revolution: Youth is an authorial project that explores the moment of a generation becoming independent. We grew up in a world of ecological disasters, social devastation, in a world of capital dictatorship, in a world of fear, in a world which seems to have no future. What are the means of coming to terms with reality and what is the path of the new generation?

Right Before the Revolution: How I Became a Terrorist

A digital set design / the intention was to create a wall between “us“ and “them“. We created a barrier by only using black and white compositions in exchanging sequences to separate the actors from the vast black background withholding a crowd of people.

Authorial project Just before the revolution: How I became a terrorist is a play that questions borders beethween “us” and “them”.

The subtle use of switching roles from first person to third makes us wonder.
How is a refuge fleeing Syria, Afghanistan or Nigeria any different from me? Could I be in their place, or am I already?
Are we only one step away from being them, refugees …

Overall the play focuses on denying the theatrical to pristinely portray the notion of human. Between acts using subtle visual interference of masses versus the police state to make us question even more.

How much longer will this world stand? How much longer will we pretend that this system works?
How many more plays, roles, festivals, awards, performances will there be?
What are we protecting ourselves from? And who? Us? Them?
Are people that are waiting at our borders really a threat to us or are they a necessary salvation?
